Things are starting to slow down here and we are falling into the lazy days of summer. The other day, I took my younger son to the pool while the older one was out and he was showing off for me! He loves to jump into the water over and over and over. The older he gets, the more elaborate thing jumps become. I thought I would share a few for you to see. Ahhhh to be a kid...

I had one day to play. I was done with school and my boys are not. For one day, I could have my fun. I was going to go into Chicago and have some fun with a friend. Well, the weather spoiled that! So, I thought light painting would be a good alternative. We had a blast doing this. It always amazes me how much light can affect photos. I thought I would share some of the photos that we created. This afternoon, I was over working on our community pool. This pool is right next to our house and is run by the members. This year I am one of two CPO's. (Certified Pool Operator) Our job is to keep the chemicals up to snuff as well as keeping the filters running smoothly and such. This afternoon as I was heading over, there was a duck swimming in the pool having a grand old time. Even when I got there, this little gal was in no hurry to get away from the pool. So, I got my camera and she had quite a little show for me! It was too funny not to share. I thought as I watched her, boy, even a duck knows it is almost pool season. At least she doesn't have to try on swim suits!
